AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY TO BONIFACIO
LEAL A TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED AS LOT 17, BLOCK 8 (H),
MONTE VISTA SUBDIVISION, IN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, UPON THE PAYMENT OF $400 CASH
CONSIDERATION FOR SAID PARCEL, A COPY OF INSTRUMENT
CONVEYING THE SAME BEING ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A
PART HEREOF; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to convey to
Bonifacio Leal a tract of land described as Lot 17, Block 8 (H), Monte
Vista Subdivision, in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas,
upon the payment of the cash consideration of $400 for said parcel of land,
a copy of deed of conveyance being attached hereto and made a part hereof,
marked Exhibit "A."
SECTION 2. The necessity to immediately authorize the execution
of a deed in order to facilitate the sale of the above describe3,parcel
of land creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity
requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolu-
tion shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that
such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of
the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity
to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that

effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS

SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the City of Corpus Christi, hereinafter called
Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred
Dollars ($400.00) to Grantor in hand paid by Bonifacio Leal,
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and for which no
lien is retained, either expressed or implied, has this day sold,
and by these presents does GRANT, BARGAIN, SELL and CONVEY unto
the said Bonifacio Leal all that certain tract or parcel of land
lying and being situated in the County of Nueces, State of Texas,
more particularly described as follows, to -wit:
Lot 17, Block 8 (H) Monte Vista Subdivision
in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County,
Texas.
TO IAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises herein
conveyed, t3gether with all and singular the rights and appurtenances
thereto in anywise belonging to the said Bonifacio Leal, his
heirs and assigns, forever, and Grantor does hereby bind itseif,
its successors and assigns, to warrant and forever defend all and
singular the said premises herein conveyed against every person
whomsoever lawfully claiming or to to claim the same or any part
thereof by, through, or under Grantor, but not otherwise.
