HomeMy WebLinkAbout11632 ORD - 08/15/1973JRR:jh:8 -1 -73; 1st AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO SET PARKING RATES FOR USERS OF LHE MAIN PUBLIC PARKING LOT IN FRONT OF THE TERMINAL BUILDING AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 1973, AS SET FORTH HEREINAFTER; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager he, and he is hereby, authorized and directed, for and on behalf of the City of Corpus Christi, to set parking rates for users of the main public parking lot in front of the Terminal Building at the Corpus Christi International Airport, effective September 1, 1973, as follows: First Hour $ .25; Each Additional Hour $ .10; and Maximum Daily Rate $1.25. e-/-73 weabclq gait, it 6. as- SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and are hereby repealed to the extent of conflict herewith. SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose. SECTION 4. Publication shall be made one time in the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance. :IL 632 • That the foregoing ordinance was read forte first time and passed to its second reading on this the /.at day of , 19 73 , by the following vote: Jason Luby James T.
