AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE,
1958, AS AMENDED, AND PARTICULARLY
AMENDING SECTION 21 -155, SCHEDULE III,
"PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON
CERTAIN STREETS ", BY ADDING THERETO
ITEMS WHICH WILL HAVE THE EFFECT OF
PROHIBITING PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON
PORTIONS OF CRAIG STREET AND OCEAN
DRIVE, AS MORE FULLY DESCRIBED HERE-
INAFTER; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Corpus Christi Code, 1958,
as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by amending
Section 21 -155, Schedule III, "PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES
ON CERTAIN STREETS" by adding thereto the following items:
"CRAIG STREET, both sides, between Ocean
Drive and the east right -of -way line
of the alley east of 2nd Street
OCEAN DRIVE, south side, for a distance of
500 feet on each side of the Texas
A & I University at Corpus Christi
Campus entrance."
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time in
the official publication of the City of Corpus Christi by
publishing the caption of this ordinance, stating in substance
the purpose of the ordinance. 1
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph,
subdivision, clause, phrase, or provision of this ordinance
shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of
a court of competent jurisdiction it shall not affect any other
section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or
provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of
this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision hereof be given full force
and effect for its purpose.
