I Is AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PARCELS 65 THROUGH 71, BLOCK 6, AT APPROVED VALUE, ALL BEING OUT OF THE J. M. WEBB SUBDIVISION, IN CONNECTION WITH THE NAVAL AIR STATION SAFETY ZONES - LAND ACQUISITION PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute documents necessary for the acquisition of Parcels 65 through 71, Block 6, at approved value, all being out of the J. M. Webb Subdivision, in connection with the Naval Air Station Safety Zones - Land Acquisition Project, the parcels and ownership being listed as follows: Owner Parcels James W. Hensley 65, 66 and 67 Wesley H. Webb, et ux 68 Thomas Irrera 69 and 70 Nancy L. Harrison 71 SECTION 2. The necessity to authorize the execu- tion of the documents necessary to acquire the aforesaid parcels for the purposes aforesaid in order that the project may continue without delay creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordi- nance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, having requested the suspension of said Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally 12445 on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the ,2c` day of 1975.
