FOR CONSTRUC- TION OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI HEALTH CENTER, SAID CHANGE ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONAL SITE i10RK,INCLUDING PARKING AREAS, DRIVEWAYS, WALKWAYS, LIGHTING, AND LAND- SCAPING TO COORDINATE BOTH VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN ACCESS TO THE HEALTH FACILITY, SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER, AND GREENWOOD LIBRARY; CANCELLING THE APPROPRIATION OF $25,660.50 IN THE NOS. 121, 122, 124, AND 125 GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS ACCORDING TO THE SCHEDULE ATTACHED HERETO, PfARKED EXHIBIT "A ", AND MADE A PART HEREOF; AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF SAID $25,660.50 TO THE NO. 268 HEALTH FACILITIES BOND FUND; APPROPRIATING AND REAPPROPRIATING $33,050, OF IMICH $25,665.49 IS OUT OF THE NO. 268 HEALTH FACILITIES BOND FUND AND APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 268 -72 -1, AND $7,384.51 IS OUT OF THE NO. 269 LIBRARY BOND FUND AND APPLICABLE TO PROJECT NO. 269 -67 -1; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That authorization is hereby given for execution of Change Order No. 2 to the contract with Lambert & Fondren, Inc. for construc- tion of the Corpus Christi Health Center, said Change Order to provide for additional site work, including parking areas, driveways, walkways, lighting, and landscaping to coordinate both vehicular and pedestrian access to the Health Facility, Senior Citizens Center, and Greenwood Library. SECTION 2. There'is hereby cancelled the appropriation of $25,660:50 in the Nos. 121, 122, 124, and 125 General Revenue Sharing Funds according to the schedule attached hereto, marked Exhibit ^A ", and made a part hereof. SECTION 3. Authorizatioa is hereby given for transfer of the aforesaid $25,660.50 to the No. 268 Health Facilities Bond Fund. There is hereby appropriated and reappropriated $33,050, of which $25,665:49 is out of the No. 268 Health Facilities Bond Fund and applicable to Project No. 268 -72 -1, and $7,384.51 is out of the No. 269 Library Bond Fund and applicable to Project No. 269 -67 -1. SECTION 4. The necessity to immediately authorize the execution of Change Order No. 2 to the contract with Lambert & Fondren, Inc. to facilitate certain changes in the construction of the Corpus Christi Health Center, Senior Citizens Center and Greenwood Library creates a public /.V- 7'f emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolu- tion shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council and the Mayor having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the 3 Co day of SST: , 1975: ATTEST: .� '-.
