Home My WebLink About13182 ORD - 05/19/19760 jkh:2- 24 -76; 1st AN ORDINANCE FINDING THAT THE COST OF PRO- VIDING CITY'S INTRASTATE CHARTER BUS SERVICE HAS SUB- STANTIALLY INCREASED; ESTABLISHING NEW RATES FOR BUS CHARTER SERVICE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TARIFF ESTABLISHED BY THE RAILROAD COMMISSION, FOR REGULAR AND RESTROOM EQUIPPED CHARTERS; AMENDING SECTION 2, ITEM (c), OF ORDINANCE-NO. 9864, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NOS. 10853, 11794, AND 12366, TO CONFORM TO SAID TEXAS RAILROAD COMMISSION TARIFF; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION. WHEREAS, the cost of providing City intrastate Charter bus service, including operators' salaries and bus maintenance, has increased substantially since November 27, 1974; and WHEREAS, the Texas Railroad Commission on January 8, 1976, amended the tariff applicable to charter bus service; and WHEREAS, the City of Corpus Christi is desirous of conforming Its rate schedule to the tariff established by the Texas Railroad Commission: NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the rate schedule for charter service for equip- ment with restroom service be and the same hereby is adopted at the rate as shown on the attached schedule labeled Table D -4, beginning with line 4, 38 passengers or less, which Table is incorporated herein the same as if written herein for all Corpus Christi Transit service out -of -town charter service for equipment with restroom service. SECTION 2. That the rate schedule for charter service for equip- ment without restroom service be and the same hereby is adopted at the rate shown on the attached schedule labeled Table D -4, beginning with line 1, 35 passengers or less, which Table is incorporated herein the same as if written herein for all Corpus Christi Transit service out -of -town charter service for equipment without restroom service. SECTION 3. That Section 2, Item (c), of Ordinance No. 9864, 11 passed and approved by the City Council on July 29, 1970, as amended by Ordinances Nos. 10853, 11794, and 12366, be amended to hereafter read as follows: "As published by Texas Railroad Commission Tariff No. A455, R.C.T. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same hereby are repealed to the extent of conflict. SECTION 5.
