HomeMy WebLinkAbout13445 ORD - 10/20/1976JKH:vp:10 /19/76:1st 4` r AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING OUT OF NO. 162 FEDERAL -STATE GRANT FUND, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT, ACTIVITY 4734, CODE 502, THE AMOUNT OF $7,027.87 TO REIM- BURSE FUND 109 WASTEWATER SERVICES ACTIVITY 5371, CODE 602, FOR CITY FORCE ACCOUNT WORK PERFORMED DURING THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER, 1976, ON THE WALDRON SUBDIVISION LATERALS, STAGE II, AS ALLOCATED IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CONTRACT, FOR FLOUR BLUFF (SCHOOL AREA); AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of No. 162 Federal -State Grant Fund, Community Development Block Grant, Activity 4734, Code 502, the amount of $7,027.87 to reimburse Fund 109 Wastewater Services, Activity 5371, Code 602, for City force account work performed during the month of September, 1976, on the Waldron Subdivision laterals, Stage II, as allocated in the Community Development Block Grant contract for Flour Bluff (school area). SECTION 2. The necessity to appropriate the sum hereinabove described in order to reimburse Fund 109 at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the AA day of October, 1976.
