AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER_TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT
TO THE FOLLOWING LEASES FOR RENTAL OF SPACE AT THE
CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FOR THE OPERA-
TION OF RENT -A -CAR CONCESSIONS:
(1) Pagan -Lewis Motors, Inc. (dba Budget Rent-A-Car),
authorized by Ordinance No. 13511, dated
December 8, 1976;
(2) Coastal Bend Rent-A-Car (dba Avis), authorized by
Ordinance No. 13508, dated December 8, 1976;
(3) Hertz Corporation, authorized by Ordinance No. 13509,
dated December 8, 1976; and
(4) National Car Rental of Corpus Christi, authorized by
Ordinance No. 13510, dated December 8, 1976,
BY DELETING FROM EACH LEASE THE LAST PARAGRAPH OF
ARTICLE XIII PARAGRAPH F, REGARDING THE PROHIBITION OF
ADVERTISEMENT OF RATE SCHEDULES OF LESSEE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to execute an .r
amendment to each of the following leases for rental of space at the Corpus
Christi International Airport for the operation of Rent-A-Car concessions:`
(1) Pagan -Lewis Motors, Inc. (dba Bud‘et Rent-A-Car),
authorized by Ordinance No. 13511, dated December 8,
4 1976;
(2) Coastal Bend Rent-A-Car (dba Avis), authorized by
Ordinance No. 13508, dated December 8, 1976;
Hertz Corporation, authorized by Ordinance No. 13509,
dated December 8, 1976; and
(4) National Car Rental of Corpus Christi, authorized by
Ordinance No. 13510, dated December 8, 1976,

by deleting from each lease the last paragraph of Article XIII, paragraph F
regarding the prohibition of advertisement of rate schedules by lessee, a
substantial copy of the form or amendment being attached hereto and made a
part hereof, marked Exhibit "A".

AMENDMENT TO LEASE
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF NUECES
WHEREAS:the City of Corpus Christi, as the owner and Lessor, and
, as
Lessee, have heretofore executed a lease for the rental of space at the
International Airport for the operation of a rent -a -car concession effective
February 6, 1977; and
WHEREAS, Lessor and Lessee now desire to change said lease by
deleting the last paragraph of Article XIII, paragraph F:
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and in considera-
tion of the mutual benefits to be derived from this amendment, Lessor and
Lessee agree to delete the last paragraph of Article XIII, paragraph F,
regarding the prohibition of advertisement of rate schedules by Lessee.
