AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 EDITION, AS AMENDED, BY DELETING FROM CHAPTER 57
VEHICLES FOR HIRE, SECTION 57-2. SAME - PERMIT, ETC.,
FEES IN ITS ENTIRETY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Edition, as amended, be amended by deleting Section 57-2. Same - Permit,
etc., Fees, from Chapter 57 VEHICLES FOR HIRE, said Section 57-2 providing
at present for payment to the City by persons engaged in the business of
operating buses over and upon the streets of the City of two percent (2%)
of the gross revenue derived from the operation or use of such buses as a
city permit fee or street rental charge, other than those operating under
Railroad Commission permits.
