Wranosky, a long-time resident of the City of Corpus Christi, was on February 16, 1980, called to his eternal rest; and WHEREAS, among his many accomplishments Ernest J. Wranosky will be remembered for his untiring work with the Flour Bluff School District, where he served as superrendent of schools for 29 years,and as an educa- tional consultant following his resignation as superintendent; and in recognition of his dedication, he was honored with a life membership in the Texas Association of School Administrators upon his retirement and was alsohonored with a dedicated service award; and WHEREAS, Ernest J. Wranosky was also a current member of the Planning Commission of the City of Corpus Christi, having been first appointed in 1977, and he was a member of the Lions Service Club of Flour Bluff; and WHEREAS, the passing of this outstanding citizen and long-time Nueces County resident is a great loss to the citizens of the City of Corpus Christi as well as to his family and many friends, leaving an .irreplaceable void in the community: - NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That this brief record of the many accomplishments of Ernest J. Wranosky be recalled and that the citizens of this community join in mourning the loss of this valuable citizen. SECTION 2.
