HomeMy WebLinkAbout15453 RES - 04/02/1980A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF RICHARD KISLING TO THE POSITION OF UTILITY COMMERCIAL OFFICE MANAGER BY THE CITY MANAGER, PURSUANT TO CITY CHARTER ARTICLE III, SECTION 3; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Richard Kisling, appointed to the position of Utility Commercial Office Manager by the City Manager, pursuant to City Charter Article III, Section 3, is hereby confirmed. SECTION 2. The necessity for confirming the appointment of Richard Kisling as promptly as possible creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity exist, having requested the Charter rule be suspended and that this resolution be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO RESOLVED, this the Z day of April, 1980.
