HomeMy WebLinkAbout15597 ORD - 06/18/1980AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $29,904.99 OUT OF PARK BOND FUND NO. 291 TO SUPPLEMENT PREVIOUS APPROPRIATION OF $43,877.63 FOR A TOTAL OF $73,782.62 FOR REIMBURSEMENT TO THE GENERAL FUND NO. 102, ACTIVITY 4122-603 FOR WORK ACCOMPLISHED AT THE FOLLOWING PARKS: 1. Swantner 2. Gardendale 3. Patterson 4. Lakeview 5. Ridgewood 6. North Channel, 7. Los Encinos AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $29,904.99 out of Park Bond Fund No. 291 to supplement previous appropriation of $43,877.63 for a total of $73,782.62 for reimbursement to the General Fund No. 102, Activity 4122-603 for work accomplished as follows: PARK PROJECT NO. COST IMPROVEMENTS Swantner 291-72-6.3 $ 2,925.96 Installed fence, irrigation Gardendale 291-77-4.4 $12,462.19 Drainage, irrigation, soil Patterson $ 2,224.48 Playground, irrigation, soil Lakeview $ 4,329.75 Drainage and seeding Ridgewood $ 7,962.61 Water main installed North Channel $ 3,869.15 Wooden shelter, benches Los Encinos $25,658.48 Haul and grade fill material, start of irrigation system and place concrete posts and cable for vehicle control. Patterson 291-77-4.5 $14,350.00 Completion of irrigation system 1 playground 165% complete $73,782.62 SECTION 2. The necessity to appropriate the sums hereinabove described in order to make reimbursement to the General Fund at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be pass:: finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the MICROFILMED 111ir. 9 a MO 15597 date of its introduction and that such ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the /7 day of June 1980.
