AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 13862, PASSED AND APPROVED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON AUGUST 3, 1977, BY AMENDING
SECTION 1 THEREOF SO AS TO HEREAFTER ESTABLISH THE
FOLLOWING RATES FOR PARKING IN THE AIRPORT PARKING
LOT AT TEE CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:
FIRST HOUR, 50p; EACH ADDITIONAL HOUR, 35O; MAXIMUM
DAILY RATE, $2.50)
PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 13862, passed and approved by
the City Council on August 3, 1977, be and the same is hereby amended by
amending Section 1 thereof so as to hereafter establish the following rates
for parking in the Airport Parking Lot at the Corpus Christi International
Airport:
First hour $ .50
Each Additional Hour .35
Maximum Daily Rate 2.50
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith shall be and are hereby repealed to the extent of conflict
herewith.
SECTION 3. The terms of this ordinance shall become effective
from and after its passage and publication.
SECTION 4. If for any reason any section, paragraph, sub-
division, clause, phrase, work, or provision of this ordinance shall be held
invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent juris-
diction it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent
of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
phrase, word, or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its pur-
pose.
SECTION 5. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of this
ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
