HomeMy WebLinkAbout15647 ORD - 07/23/1980AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $16,058.46 AS FOLLOWS TO REIMBURSE THE GENERAL FUND, ACTIVITY 4122-603, FOR PARK IMPROVEMENTS COMPLETED AS PART OF THE 1977 BOND PROGRAM: CONGRESS PARK, PROJECT NO. 291-77-4.8, $2,950.42 MOBILE PARK, PROJECT NO. 291-77-4.9, $8,310.97 SNEAD PARK, PROJECT NO. 291-77-4.10, $4,797.07 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $16,058.46 out of Park Bond Fund No.291 to reimburse the General Fund No. 102, Activity 4122-603 for work accomplished as follows: Park Project No. Cost Improvements Congress 291-77-4.8 $ 2,950.42 Continued installation of irrigation system Mobile 291-77-4.9 8,310.97 Continued installation of irrigation system, putting up posts and cables, discing and grading. Snead 291-77-4.10 4,797.07 Trenching and initial installation of the irrigation system. $]6,058.46 SECTION 2. The necessity to appropriate the sums hereinabove described in order to make reimbursement to the General Fund at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and that such ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the opi3ir.oe_ day of July, 1980.
