Home My WebLink About15660 ORD - 07/30/1980• jkh:7-16-8O;lst AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI AND HEADQUARTERS, THIRD GROUP, TEXAS WING CIVIL AIR PATROL, AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE NO. 14619, DATED NOVEMBER 15, 1978, PROVIDING FOR THE USE OF 405 SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE SPACE IN THE TOWER BUILDING AT THE CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT RATHER THAN THE 120 SQUARE FEET PREVIOUSLY AUTHORIZED, ALL AS MORE FULLY SET FORTH IN THE AMENDMENT, A SUBSTANTIAL COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF, MARKED EXHIBIT "A". • BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to execute an amendment to the lease agreement between the City of Corpus Christi and Headquarters, Third Group, Texas Wing Civil Air Patrol, authorized by Ordinance No. 14619, dated November 15, 1978, providing for the use of 405 square feet of office space in the Tower Building at the Corpus Christi International Airport rather than the 120 square feet previously authorized, all as more fully set forth in the amendment, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A". 1_5660 MICROFILMED AUG 2 91980 AMENDMENT TO LEASE AGREEMENT THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF NUECES WHEREAS, by authority of OrdinanceNo. 14619, dated November 15, 1978, a Lease Agreement was entered into between the City of Corpus Christi and Headquarters, Third Group, Texas Wing, Civil Air Patrol, for the use of office space in the International Arrival Building at the Corpus Christi International Airport, as more fully set forth in the Lease Agreement; and WHEREAS, the said Lessee desires to relocate to a larger office area and the City is agreeable to said relocation: NOW, THEREFORE, Lessor and Lessee agree to amend the aforesaid Lease Agreement heretofore entered into as follows: 1. That Paragraph numbered 1 shall be amended to reflect that the lease area shall henceforth read as follows: 405 square feet in the southeast corner of the Second Floor of the Old Airport Tower Building, as shown by floor plan thereof, marked as Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made a part hereof. Except as herein and hereby amended, the terms, conditions, and provisions of the Lease Agreement heretofore entered into by and between Lessor and Lessee shall be and remain in full force and effect.
