AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION 35-289,
THE LAST SENTENCE THEREOF, AND SECTION 35-290, THE SECOND
SENTENCE THEREOF, TO PERMIT ADDITIONAL WELL SURFACE
STRUCTURES TO BE LOCATED EITHER TWO HUNDRED FIFTY (250)
FEET OR TEN (10) FEET FROM THE NEAREST EXISTING WELL
SURFACE STRUCTURE, EXCEPT THAT THE DISTANCE FROM CENTER
TO CORNER WELLS IN A CLUSTER AREA MUST BE THREE HUNDRED
FIFTY-FOUR (354) FEET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, be amended by deleting the following wording from
Section 35-289, the last sentence thereof, and the second sentence of
Section 35-290: "additional well surface structures shall be located not
more than two hundred fifty (250) feet from the nearest existing well surface
structure, except that the distance from center to corner wells in a cluster
area may be no more than three hundred fifty-four (354) feet", and in lieu
thereof, adding the following provision: "additional well surface structures
shall be located either two hundred fifty (250) feet or ten (10) feet from
the nearest existing well surface structure, except that the distance from
center to corner wells in a cluster area must be three hundred fifty-four
(354) feet."
