AN ORDINANCE
INCREASING THE FUEL FLOWAGE RATE FOR FIXED BASE OPERATORS
AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT FROM FOUR AND
THREE-FOURTHS CENTS ($0.0475) TO SIX CENTS ($0.06) PER
GALLON OF GASOLINE AND/OR OTHER PROPELLANTS AND FUELS,
ALL AS PROVIDED FOR IN THE FIXED BASE OPERATOR LEASE
AGREEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the lease agreements with each fixed base operator at Corpus
Christi International Airport provide that the City may adjust the fuel flowage
rates charged to each fixed base operator for gasoline and/or other propellants
and fuels purchased by the fixed base operator; and
WHEREAS, an increase in the fuel flowage rate from four and three-
fourths cents ($0.0475) to six cents ($0.06) per gallon will increase general
aviation revenues to more nearly equal airport expenditures attributable to
general aviation operations:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the fuel flowage rate charged to all fixed base opera-
tors at Corpus Christi International Airport for gasoline and/or other propellants
and fuels purchased by the respective fixed base operators be increased from four
and three-fourths cents ($0.0475) per gallon to six cents ($0.06) per gallon and
that all fixed base operator lease agreements are hereby amended accordingly.
SECTION 2. That the above described fuel flowage rate increase shall
become effective on August 1, 1980.
