AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING SECTION 36-7 OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE,
1976, AS AMENDED, SO AS TO ESTABLISH NEW SWIMMING FEES
AND A FULL SEASON SWIM PASS PROGRAM; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 36-7, entitled "Swimming Fees", as established
in the Corpus Christi City Code, 1976 Revision, as amended, by Ordinance No.
14466, passed and approved by the City Council on August 23, 1978, be amended
to read as follows:
"Section 36-7. Swimming Pool rates schedule:
The rates to be charged as fees for the use of City owned and operated
swimming pools to be paid by all users of those City recreational facilities
shall be prescribed in the following schedule:
Daily Admission Fees (at all pools):
Child (age 12 and younger) $ .50
Teenager (ages 13 through 17) .75
Adult (ages 18 through 64) 1.00
Senior Citizen (age 65 and over) .75
Full Season (May 1 through Labor Day) Swim Pass:
Child $ 10.00
Teenager 15.00
Adult 20.00
Senior Citizen 15.00
Family (husband and wife and all
children age 18 and under) 50.00
Splash Party Fees (for two hours):
Parties requiring two Lifeguards $ 25.00
Parties requiring three Lifeguards 30.00
Parties requiring four Lifeguards 35.00
Parties requiring five Lifeguards 40.00
Swimming Instruction Fees (for eight Lessons):
1st Student from a particular family $ 10.00
Each additional member of the family 5.00
Life Saving Instruction $ 10.00
