AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 REVISION, CHAPTER 13 - BUILDINGS, ARTICLE III -
ELECTRICAL, DIVISION I - LICENSING, BY AMENDING SECTION
13-75, PARAGRAPH (C) TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASE IN THE
ELECTRICIAN EXAMINATION AND LICENSE FEES; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERANCE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:

SECTION 1. That Chapter 13, Article III, BUILDINGS, ELECTRICAL,
Division 1, Licensing, of the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, and particularly as amended by Ordinance No. 13617
adopted February 16, 1977, Ordinance No. 13775 adopted June 8, 1977, Ordinance
No. 13806 adopted June 29, 1977, and Ordinance No. 13949 adopted September 21,
1977, is hereby amended by amending Section 13-75, Paragraph (c) to hereafter
read as follows:
"(c) Table 1, Fees

(2) Master Electrician -Sign
(3 Master Electrician -Elevator.
(4 Journeyman Electrician
(5) Maintenance Electrician
(6) Limited Journeyman Electrician
(7) Apprentice

SECTION 2. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or
unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction it shall
not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or
provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of the City Council
that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or provision
hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
SECTION 3. Publication shall be made one time in the official pub-
lication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of this
ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
