AMENDING THE BARGE RESTAURANT LEASE AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE
14810 TO REFLECT A CHANGE IN THE OWNERSHIP INTEREST OF "CAP-
TAIN BOOMER'S" BARGE RESTAURANT. -
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 14810, passed and approved by the City
Council on March 7, 1979, a lease was authorized between the City of Corpus
Christi and "Pelican's Pleasure" d/b/a "Captain Boomer's" for the establishment
bf a barge restaurant to be located on the Peoples Street T -Head; and
WHEREAS, Pelican's Wharf, Inc., no longer has an ownership interest
in said barge restaurant, and it is mutually agreeable to the City of Corpus
Christi and to Pleasure Pier Associates, Inc., the owner of the said barge
restaurant, that the lease be amended°to reflect the actual ownership interests;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF''
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the introductory paragraph of the lease authorized.
by Ordinance No. 14810, passed and approved by the City Council on March'7,
1979, between the City of Corpus Christi and Pelican's Pleasure d/b/a "Capfain,
Boomer's" for the establishment of a barge restaurant to be located on,the.
Peoples Street T -Head, be amended so as.to hereafter to read as follows:
"This agreement is made and entered into this the day
of , 1980, by and between the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, a municipal corporation, hereinafter called
"City", and Pleasure Pier Associates, Inc., a Texas corpora-
tion, hereinafter called "Second Party", whose principal
office and place of business is in the City of Corpus Christi,
Nueces County, Texas. •
"City, in consideration of Second Party's faithful performance
of the covenants described herein, leases to Second Party'a
certain dockside area in the Corpus Christi Marina upon these
terms:"
SECTION 2. That paragraph XX of the above described lease be amended
to delete the words "and/or Pelican's Wharf, Inc., 5806 West Bee Cave, Austin,
Texas 78746." which appear in the last two lines of said paragraph.
SECTION 3. That the signature lines for Second Party appearing on
the last page of the lease be redesignated
