AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION 53-254,
SCHEDULE V, INCREASE OF STATE SPEED LIMIT IN CERTAIN
ZONES, SO AS TO DELETE REFERENCES TO PORTIONS OF SOUTH
PADRE ISLAND DRIVE (S.H.358) AND NORTH PADRE ISLAND DRIVE
(S.H.358) FRONTAGE ROADS AND IN LIEU THEREOF ADOPTING NEW
PROVISIONS FOR SPEED LIMITS ON CROSSTOWN EXPRESSWAY, SOUTH
PADRE ISLAND DRIVE (S.H.358) FRONTAGE ROAD, NORTH PADRE
ISLAND DRIVE (S.H.358) FRONTAGE R ADSAND INTERSTATE HIGHWAY
37 FRONTAGE ROADS AS HEREINAFTER PROVIDED; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICA-
TION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by amending
Section 53-254, Schedule V. INCREASE OF STATE SPEED LIMIT IN CERTAIN ZONES,
by deleting the following:

SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. Publication shall be made one time in the official publica-
tion of the City of Corpus Christi, which publication shall contain the caption
stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
