AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 15643, PASSED AND APPROVED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON JULY 23, 1980, BY AMENDING
SECTION 1 THEREOF TO ESTABLISH LONG-TERM AND SHORT-
TERM PARKING RATES FOR PARKING IN THE MAIN AIRPORT
PUBLIC PARKING LOT AT CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE; AND PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 15643, passed and approved by the City
Council on July 23, 1980, be and the same is hereby amended by amending Section
1 thereof so as to hereafter establish the following rates for parking in the
main Airport Public Parking Lot at the Corpus Christi International Airport:

Short -Term Lot, per space occupied $.50 $.50 $5.00
Long -Term Lot, per space occupied $.50 $.35 $2.50
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with shall be and are hereby repealed to the extent of conflict herewith.
SECTION 3. The terms of this ordinance shall become effective from and
after its passage and publ'icati`on or at such later date as improvements to the
parking lot now under construction are completed and accepted by the City and the
long-term and short-term lots are opened for public use.
SECTION 4. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, work, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or
unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction it shall
not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or
provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
SECTION 5. Publication shall be made one time in the official publi-
cation of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of this ordinance
stating in substance the purpose of theCordinance.
