AMENDING SECTION 36-2 OF CHAPTER 36 OF THE CORPUS
CHRISTI CITY CODE, 1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, BY
AMENDING SECTION 36-2, GREEN FEES SCHEDULE, SO AS
TO ESTABLISH A GREEN FEE SCHEDULE AND ELECTRIC GOLF
CART RENTAL FEES SCHEDULE FOR THE CORPUS CHRISTI•
GOLF CENTER; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING
FOR PUBLICATION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Corpus Christi City Code, 1976 Revision, as
amended, be amended by amending Chapter 36, Section 36-2, Green Fees Schedule,
in the following particulars:
"Section 36-2. Same --GREEN FEES SCHEDULE
The rates to be charged as green fees (daily) and the monthly
card fees for use of the Oso Municipal Golf Course, to be paid by all users
of that city recreational facility shall be- as prescribed in the following
schedules:
SCHEDULE OF GREEN CELS (DAILY) - OSO MUNICIPAL
Saturday, Sunday & Holidays (at all times), except as
hereinafter provided $ 5.00
Monday through Friday (at all times), except as
hereinafter provided 4.00
Saturday & Sunday after 4:30 p.m., May through
1ctober, and after 3:30 p.m., November through April 3.00
Monday through Friday after 4:30 p.m., May through
October, and after 3:30 p.m., November through April 2.50
Senior Citizens (over 65 years of age and permanent '
residents of the City of Corpus Christi),
Monday through Friday.(at all times) 2.00
Students (school children through high school grades),
Monday through Friday (at all times) 1.50
SCHEDULE OF GREEN FEES (MONTHLY. CARDS) - OSO MUNICIPAL
Good at all times (unrestricted) $ 27.00
"' Monday through Friday (at all times) 22.00
Senior Citizens (over 65 years of age and permanent
residents of the City of Corpus Christi),
Monday through Friday, except holidays 14.00
Students (school children through high school grades),
Monday through Friday, except holidays 10.00
Senior citizens may prove their permanent residency with either a valid
driver's license or voters registration certificate.

The rates to be charged as green fees (daily) and the discount
cards fees for use of the Corpus Christi Golf Center, to be paid by all users
of that city recreational facility shall be as prescribed in the following
schedules:
SCHEDULE OF GREEN FEES (DAILY) - GOLF CENTER
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays (at all times), except as
hereinafter provided, for 18 holes of play $ 6.00
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays (at all times), except as
hereinafter provided, for 9 holes of play 3.50
Monday through Friday (at all times), except as
hereinafter provided, for 18 holes of play 4.00
Monday through Friday (at all times), except as
hereinafter provided, for 9 holes of play 2.50
An 18 -hole round on the "executive nine" course,
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays (at all times) 4.00
A 9 -hole round on the "executive nine" course,
Saturday, Sunday and Holidays (at all times) 2.25
An 18 -hole round on the "executive nine" course,
Monday through Friday, at all times 2 50
A 9 -hole round on the "executive nine" course,
Monday through Friday, at all times 1.50
Students (school children through high school grades),
Monday through Friday, before 11:00 a.m. June through
August and after 3:00 p.m. the rest of the year 1 50
SCHEDULE FOR DISCOUNT CARDS - GOLF CENTER
$25 worth of green fees, good any time $ 20.00
$15 worth of green fees, good any time 12.00
$10 worth of green fees, good any time 8.00
$15 worth of green fees, good only Monday through
Friday, except holidays, available to those over
age 60 with proof of age 9.00
$10 worth of green fees, good only Monday through
Friday, except holidays, available to those over
age 60 with proof of age 6.00
The rates to be charged for the rental of electric golf carts
at the Corpus Christi Golf Center, to be paid by all users of carts at that
city recreational facility shall be as prescribed in the following schedule:

SCHEDULE OF ELECTRIC CART RENTAL FEES - GOLF CENTER
Rental for 18 holes of play $ 10.00 plus tax
Rental for 9 holes of play 6.00 plus tax
Rental for 18 holes of play for two senior citizens
over age 60, Monday through Friday, except
holidays 8.50 plus tax
Rental for 18 holes of play for one senior citizen
over age 60, Monday through Friday, except
holidays 9.25 plus tax
Rental for 9 holes of play for two senior citizens
over age 60, Monday through Friday, except
holidays 5.50 plus tax
Rental for 9 holes of play for one senior citizen
over age 60, Monday through Friday, except
holidays 5.75 plus tax
Except as.herein and hereby amended, the provisions of Section
36-2 shall be and remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect February 1, 1981.
SECTION 3. Publication shall be made in the official publication
of the Ctiy of Corpus Christi, one time, which publication. shall contain the
caption stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
SECTION 4. The necessity to establish rates for the Corpus
Christi Golf Center so that they may go into effect on February -1, 1981, the
date which the City of Corpus Christi will take over operation of said Golf
Center, creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring
the suspension of the Charter Rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed
finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution
shall be read -at -three -several roeetiags:of the City Council, and the Mayor, having
declared that such emergency and necessity exists, having requested the suspension
of the Charter Rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its
introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from a,'
passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance, a
public emergency and imperative necessity exist for the suspension of the Charter
rule or requirement that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on
the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read
at three meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, request that you suspend
said Charter rule or requirement and pass this ordinance finally,on the date it
is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
