BE IT ORIIAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated and re -appropriated a total of $16,222.60, of which $9,442.60 is out of the No. 220 Street Bond Fund, applicable to Project No. 220-77-20.3, and $6,780 is out of the No. 102 General Fund, Activity 3412, Code 245. SECTION 3. The necessity to authorize issuance of the aforesaid purchase orders and to provide the necessary funds for the acquisition of the said traffic control equipment creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the - City Council, and the Mayor having declared such emergency and necessity to' exist, and having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the a day of February, 1981.
