AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 14936, THE AID AMBULANCE SERVICE RATE ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 15886, SO AS TO AMEND SECTION 1 (8) (3) TO, PROVIDE THAT THE CHARGE FOR ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICATION IS $6.50 OR THE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL PATIENT CHARGE IF THE MEDICATION WERE ADMINISTERED IN THE HOSPITAL, WHICHEVER IS GREATER; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 14936, the AID Ambulance Service Rate ordinance, as amended by Ordinance No. 15886, be amended so as to amend Section 1 (B) (3) to hereafter read as follows: "(3) For administration of other medication per patient per run, $6.50 or the Memorial Hospital patient charge if the medication were administered in the hospital, whichever is greater." SECTION 2. The necessity to amend the AID Ambulance Service Rate ordinance as hereinabove set forth, at the earliest practicable date, creates a public emergency and an imperative public necessity requiring the suspen- sion of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared that such emergency and necessity exist, having requested Vie suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the ...?sr— day of February, 1981.
