AMENDING EXHIBIT 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 16143 PASSED AND
APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS, ON APRIL 1, 1981, TO REVISE EXHIBIT "A"
DESCRIBING ADDITIONAL LAND TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN
CORPUS CHRISTI INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT NO. 12, AND DE-
CLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Exhibit 1 of Ordinance No. -16143, passed and
approved by the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, be amended
to revise Exhibit "A" to add a 1.490 acre tract of land to Corpus Christi
Industrial District No. 12; all as more fully set forth in metes and bounds,
a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof,
marked Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2. That the necessity for amending Exhibit 1 of Ordinance
No. 16143 in order to redescribe Corpus Christi Industrial District No. 12
at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative
public necessity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordi-
nance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction
but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings
of the City Council, and the Mayor, having declared that such emergency and
necessity exist,;having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that
this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take
effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS
ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the day of April, 1981.

A tract of land out of the remaining portion of the W. B. ant+
McCampbell lands lying North of Interstate Highway No. 37 and West of
Corn Products Road, Nueces County, Texas.
:BEGINNING at a point in 'the, West boundary of, Corn Products Road, a 60
foot road, from whence, an .iron rod at the intersection of the centerline,
extended, of said Corn Products Road with the North boundary of said
McCampbell lands, 'bears N 81° - 37' - 30" E, 30.31 feet and N 00 - 07' _
-- 30" W. 620.65 feet. Said iron rod being the point of intersection. -of
a curve with a centerline radius of 2864.93 feet.
THENCE: S 0° - 07' - 30" E, along the West boundary of said Cora Products
Road, a distance of 184.23 -feet to an iron pipe for corner;
THENCE: S 50° - 43' - 10" SSI, 126.39 feet to an iron rod-in.the North bounda
ry of Interstate -Highway No. 37 for a corner of this tract;
TBENCE:-N 780 --28' - 30" W, along the North boundary of said Interstate
Highway No. 37, a distance of -208.20 feet to an .iron pipe for corner;
THENCE: N 0° ---00' - 30" -W, 178.27 feet to an iraa pipe for the N.W. corner
of this tract;

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance, a
public emergency and imperative necessity exist for the suspension of the Charter
rule or requirement that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on
the date it is introduced, and that such ordinance or resolution shall be read
at three meetings of the City Council; I, therefore, request that you suspend
said Charter rule or requirement and pass this ordinance finally on the date it
is introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
