PATTERSON 2. RIDGEWOOD 3. CONGRESS 4. MOBILE 5. SNEAD AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. 6. LAGUNA 7. ELGIN 8. H.E.B. 9. LOS ENCINOS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 16273, passed and approved by the City Council on May 27, 1981, be repealed in its entirety. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $6,411.37 out of Park Trust Fund 111\and $73,052.38 out of Park Bond Fund No. 291 to supplement previous appropriation of $3,484.17 for a total of $82,947.92 for reimbursement to the General Fund No. 102, Activity 4122-603, for work accom- plished as follows: PARK PROJECT NO. Constructed a theme playground, assembled and installed swings, fence and sprinkler repair. Installed playground, swing assembly & slide in concrete base. Installed playground equipment, constructed a theme playgound, a patio and brick work. Installed an irrigation system; trenching, laying pipe, heads, control system, disc and drag. Constructed a slab and shelter, basketball backboard and irriga- tion improvements. Filled low areas, installed basketball backstop, seeded and fertilized trees. Poured concrete slabs, improved slide and spring animals. Post and cable improvements, expansion and repair of irriga- tion system. . 1)271984 SECTION 3. The necessity to appropriate the sums hereinabove described in order to make reimbursement to the General Fund at the earliest practicable date creates a public emergency and an imperative public neces- sity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolution shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City Council, and the Mayor or Council members, having declared such emer- gency and ndecessity to exist, having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage, IT IS ACCORDINGLY SO ORDAINED, this the:Tir% Jday of June, 1981.
