AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING CHAPTER 9 AVIATION OF THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY
CODE, 1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION
9-1, MINIMUM ALTITUDE, SO AS TO REVISE THE MINIMUM
ALTITUDE FOR ROTOCRAFT OPERATIONS FROM 1,000 FEET TO
500 FEET.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 9, AVIATION, of the Corpus Christi City
Code, 1976 Revision, as amended, be amended by amending Section 9-1, Minimum
Altitude, so that the first sentence thereof hereafter readasfollows:
"It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any aircraft,
airship or balloon over the city or any property owned, leased or controlled
by the City at an altitude lower than one thousand five -hundred (1,500) feet
from the earth's surface or, in the case of a rotorcraft, at an altitude
lower than five hundred (500) feet from the earth's surface."
