AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING CHAPTER 21, GARBAGE, TRASH AND
OTHER REFUSE, BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION, TO BE
NUMBERED 21-6.1, LIMITATION ON NUMBER OF CONTAINERS;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordiannces, City of Corpus Christi,
1976 Revision, as amended, be amended by amending Chapter 21, GARBAGE, TRASH
AND OTHER REFUSE, by adding a new section, 21-6.1, to hereafter read as
follows:
Section 21-6.1 Limitation on number of containers.
The collection services of the Sanitation -Division shall be limited -
to a maximum of five containers from any one family dwelling on garbage collection
days, except on the first collection day for new customers (moving boxes) and on
the first collection day after Christmas (gift wrappings)."
SECTION 2. The provisions of this ordinance shall become effective
and be in full force and effect from and after the passage of this ordinance.
