SOLAR ESTATES 7. SWANTNER 13. LAGUNA 2. ST. ANDREWS 8. SOUTH BAY. 14. ELGIN 3. MIDDLECOFF 9. FOUNTAIN 15. CASA LINDA 4. LOS ENCINOS 10. RIDGEWOOD 16. TEMPLE 5. LAKEVIEW 11. CONGRESS 17. SOUTH BLUFF 6� OODDRIDGE 12. MOBILE 18. BILL WITT _=AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE ITORDAINEDBY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there -is hereby appropriated the sum of $15,931.61 out of Park Trust Fund 111 and $70,572.01 out of Park Bond Fund No. 291 to supplement previous appropriations of $7,489.25 for a total of $93,992.87 forreimbursementto the General Fund No:102-266-518.43-603, for work ac- complished as follows: -PARK. PROJECT NO-. -COST IMPROVEMENTS .Solar -Estates 111-241.01 _ $ 2,756.92 Installed irrigation control box and joined irrigation system to the water tap. St. Andrews 111-241-01 $ 6,961.34 Water tap -constructed irriga- tion line for tree plantings. Planted and fertilized 30 palm trees. Middlecoff 111-241.01 • $ 722.25 Staked out park for initial survey/grid system for grading purposes. Los Encinos- 111-241.21 $ 5,070.10 44Installed a back stop, con - structed cement picnic tables, & rehabilitated the sprinkler - system. Lakeview - 111-241.26 $ 421.0a Installation of a water tap. Doddridge 291-72.6.2 $ 1,348.48 Reconstruction of the irriga- tion system after parking lot repairs. Swantner 291-72-6.3 $ 2,085.77 Work on the water main & fence repair. South Bay 291-77-4.2 $ 400.50 Lumber bill - late charge. Elgin 291-77-4.13 - $ 2,145.38 Renovation of sprinkler sys- tem and the purchase of lum- ber for a shelter (to be constructed in August.) Casa Linda 291-77-4.14 $15,219.11 Installation of a picnic shelter, a playground, and rehabilitation of the sprink- ler system, feeding and pruning trees. - Temple South Bluff Bill Witt - Softball_— Complex 291-77-4.15- $`07,685.02 - Construction of a shelter - (concrete base), and initial _ playground installation of a whirl, assembly of tables and tree pruning. _291-77-4.16 $18,143.35 Construction of 93 ft. re- - taining wall 2 ft. to 4 ft. high and soil backfill --con- - struction of a 5 ft. apron on the spray pool --installation of posts and cables for traf- .- fic control --demolition of footings and old broken cement tables. Repair and rehabilitate the park water system --pump house, electrical equipment, compres- sor water tank and associated lines, repaired fence and boarded up buildings not in use. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the necessity to appropriate the sums hereinabove described in order to make reimbursement to the General Fund at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule or to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this GI/day of , 1981.
