HomeMy WebLinkAbout16457 ORD - 08/12/1981mb;8/10/81;lst AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SANITARY SEWER MASTER PLAN FOR THE FLOUR BLUFF AREA DATED SEPTEMBER, 1965, BY MOVING THE DIVIDE BETWEEN SUB -AREAS 8-B-1 AND 2-B-1 WESTERLY APPROXIMATELY 660 FEET BETWEEN GLENOAK DRIVE AND CARIBBEAN DRIVE, PROVIDING FOR ADDING THE 40 -ACRE AREA HEREBY PROPOSED TO BE MOVED, PLUS 20 ACRES FROM SUB -AREA 8-B-1 INTO THE GLEN - OAK DRIVE TRUNK SEWER, ALL AS APPEARS ON SHEET 58 OF SAID PLAN AND AS ILLUSTRATED ON EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF; AND DECLAR- ING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Sanitary Sewer Master Plan for the Flour Bluff area, dated September, 1965, be amended by moving the divide between Sub -areas 8-B-1 and 2-B-1 westerly approximately 660 feet between Glenoak Drive and Caribbean Drive, providing for adding the 40 -acre area hereby proposed to be moved, plus 20 acres from Sub -area 8-B-1 into the Glenoak Drive Trunk Sewer, all as appears on Sheet 58 of said Plan and as illustrated on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for maintaining the public health, safety and welfare by expediting approval of the proposal to amend the Master Sanitary Sewer Plan, such find- ing of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this a day of August, 1981.
