AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, 1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING
ARTICLE II MARINA, BY ADDING A NEW PARAGRAPH
SECTION 12-80 SLIP WAITING LIST; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Amending the Code of Ordinances, City of Corpus
Christi, 1976 Revision, as amended, by amending Article II, Marina, by
adding a Section 12-80. Slip Waiting List as follows:
"12-80. Slip Waiting List. A fee of $25.00 shall be charged
to all personnel who place their name on the waiting list for a slip in
the Marina. Said fee shall apply to the first months charge upon assign-
ment of a slip. In the event that personnel who are on the waiting list
and have paid the fee desire to remove their name from the list, an
administrative charge of $15.00 shall be applied and the remaining $10.00
returned. A fee of $5.00 will be charged each year for all personnel who
wish their name to remain on the waiting list."
SECTION 2. All ordinances or part of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivi-
sion, clause, phrase, word, or provision of this ordinance shall be held
invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent
jurisdiction it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance, for it is the defi-
nite intent of the City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word, or provision hereof be given full force and effect
for its purpose.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be effective from and after
September 1, 1981.
SECTION 5. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of
this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
