BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to exeucte an amendment of lease agreement with Corpus Christi Bank and Trust Company Trustee and Chaparral Aviation, Inc., as approved by Ordinance No. 15041 of August 8, 1979, amending such lease to add 87,500 square feet of unimproved area for hangar construction and aircraft parking according to attached copy of such lease amendment and diagram marked Exhibit "2". 16475 MICROFILMED SEP 2 71984 AMENDMENT TO MODIFICATION OF LEASE AGREEMENT THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF NUECES WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 15041, passed and approved by the City Council on August 8, 1979, the City Council authorized execution of a modi- fication of lease agreement covering commercial hangars and fixed base aviation lease plots at the Corpus Christi International Airport, modifying the existing assignments and lease agreement affecting said premises, and providing for a new thirty-year lease to Chaparral Aviation, Inc. upon its compliance with Article VIII, Section 2(c) of the City Charter, as more particularly set forth in the Modification of Lease Agreement; and WHEREAS, Chaparral Aviation, Inc. desires to lease additional area, consisting of 87,500 square feet of unimproved ground for hangar construction and aircraft parking, adjacent to its present lease site; and WHEREAS, it is agreeable to the parties to the said Modification of Lease Agreement and in the interest of the public by providing additional parking and hangar space. NOW, THEREFORE, the following amendment to the Modification of Lease Agreement is hereby entered into by and between the parties hereto: That Article I, DESCRIPTION OF LEASED SPACE, be amended by adding the following 87,500 square feet of unimproved area for hangar construction and aircraft parking. Beginning at the Northeast corner of the present lease, thence 250 feet in a Northwesterly direction; Thenece 90° in a Southwesterly direction for 350 feet Thence 90° in a Southeasterly direction for 250 feet Thence 90° in a Northeasterly direction for 350 feet to the place of beginning, Containing 87,500 square feet. Except as herein and hereby amended, the terms, provisions and conditions of the Modification of Lease Agreement shall be and remain in full force and effect.
