AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI ADOPTED ON THE 27TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1937,
APPEARING OF RECORD IN VOLUME 9, PAGES 565, ET SEQ,
OF THE ORDINANCE AND RESOLUTION RECORDS, AS AMENDED
FROM TIME TO TIME AND PARTICULARLY AS AMENDED BY
ORDINANCE NO. 6106, AS AMENDED, UPON APPLICATION OF
GREG VOISIN, TRUSTEE, BY
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP BY CHANGING THE ZONING ON
LOTS 19, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, AND 30, SECTION 27,
FLOUR BLUFF AND ENCINAL FARM AND GARDEN TRACTS
SITUATED IN THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, NUECES COUNTY,
TEXAS, FROM "F -R" FARM -RURAL DISTRICT
10 "R -1B" ONE -FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
; KEEPING IN EFFECT ALL OTHER PROVISIONS
OF THE EXISTING ORDINANCE AS AMENDED; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwarded to the City Council
its reports and recommendations concerning the application of
GREG VOISIN, TRUSTEE, for amendment to the zoning map of
the City of Corpus Christi;
WHEREAS, public hearing was held at which hearing all persons
wishing to appear and be heard were heard, to consider the same before the
City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, in accordance with proper notice
to the public, said public hearing having been held on Wednesday,
September 2, 1981 , at Special Council Meeting of the
City Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall in the City of Corpus Christi;
and
WHEREAS, by motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was decided
by the City Council that to approve the hereinafter set forth amendment would
best serve public health, necessity and convenience and the general welfare
of the City of Corpus Christi and its citizens:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, passed on the 27th day of August, 1937, appearing of record
in Volume 9, Pages 565, et seq, of the Ordinance and Resolution Records, as
amended from time to time, and in particular as amended by Ordinance No. 6106,
as amended, be and the same is hereby amended by making the change hereinafter
set out.

SECTION 2. That the hereinafter described tract or parcel of
land, described as Lots 19, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30, Section 27, Flour
Bluff and Encinal Farm and Garden Tracts, situated in the City of Corpus
Christi, Nueces County, Texas, be and the same is hereby rezoned from "F -R"
Farm -Rural District to "R -1B" One -Family Dwelling District:
FIELDNOTES for Lots 19, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30, Section 27,
Flour Bluff & Encinal Farm & Garden Tracts, Nueces County, Texas:
BEGINNING at a 5/8" iron rod previously set in the center line of
Wooldridge Road' for the Northeast corner of Lot 18, the Northwest cor-
ner of Lot 19 and the Northwest corner of this survey;
THENCE South 61"03'20" East, with the center line of Wooldridge
Road which is also the North boundary of said Lot 19, 664.59•feet to
the Northwest corner df Lot 1, Block 20, Rodd East as shown by plat
recorded in Volume 34, Page 25 of the Nueces County Map Records for
.the upper Northeast corner of this. survey;
THENCE South 28°59'40" West with the West boundary of said Lot 1,
Block 20, at 26.16 feet pass a 2" iron pipe found on line, at 1,322.57
feet pass a 3/4" iron pipe found on line, in all a distance of 1,323.86
feet to the common corner of Lots 19, 20, 29, 30 for an interior corner
of this survey;
THENCE South 61"03'20" East, with the North boundary of said Lots 29,
28, 27, 26 and 25, 3,307.86 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 25, for '•
the lower Northeast corner of this survey;
THENCE South 28°58'West with the East boundary of said Lot 25, which
is also the center line of a 40 foot unimproved dedicated road, 1,322.71
feet to•a 1" iron pipe found at the Southeast corner of Section 27, for

the Southeast corner of this survey;
THENCE North 61°04'40" West, with the common boundary of Sections
27 and 26, which is also the center line of a 40_foot unimproved dedi-
cated road 3,975.04 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 30, Section
27, for the Southwest corner of this survey;
THENCE North 29°05'20" East, with the common boundary of Lots 30
and 31, Section 27, at 20.0 feet pass a 1" iron pipe found on line, in
all a distance of 1,324.30 feet to a 1" iron pipe found at the common
corner of Lots 30, 32, 18 and 19, Section 27, for an angle point in
the West boundary of this survey;
THENCE North 28°59'10" East, with the common boundary of Lots
19 and 18, Section 27, at 1,293.86 feet pass a 5/8" iron rod pre-
viously set on line, in all a distance of 1,323.96 feet to the PLACE
OF BEGINNING, containing 140.92 acres of /and.
SECTION 3. That the official zoning map of the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended as herein ordained.
SECTION 4. That the Zoning Ordinance and Map of the City of
Corpus Christi, Texas, approved on the 27th day of August, 1937, as amended
from time to time, except as herein changed, shall remain in full force and
effect.

SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
SECTION 6. That the necessity for immediately making the aforesaid
change for the purpose of maintaining at all times a comprehensive zoning
ordinance for the City of Corpus Christi creates an imperative public neces-
sity requiring the suspension of the Charter rule that no ordinance or resolu-
tion shall be passed finally on the date of its introduction but that such
ordinance or resolution shall be read at three several meetings of the City
Council, and the Mayor or Council members, having declared that such public
necessity exists, having requested the suspension of the Charter rule and
that this ordinance be passed finally on the date of its introduction and
take effect and be in full force and effect from and aer its passage, IT

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance or resolution,
an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you
suspend said Charter rule and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date It iS
introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
