AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
1976 REVISION, AS AMENDED, AND PARTICULARLY AMENDING
SECTION 53-253 SCHEDULE IV, "STOPPING, STANDING OR PARK-
ING PROHIBITED DURING CERTAIN HOURS ON CERTAIN STREETS",
BY ADDING THERETO ITEMS WHICH WILL HAVE THE EFFECT OF
PROHIBITING STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING DURING CERTAIN
HOURS ON PORTIONS OF GLENDALE STREET, CARROLL LANE, AND
PANAMA DRIVE; AMENDING SECTION 53-252, SCHEDULE III,
PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS, BY
ADDING AN ITEM WHICH WILL PROHIBIT PARKING AT ALL TIMES
ON OCEAN DRIVE, WEST SIDE, FROM ROBERT DRIVE TO A POINT
500 FEET SOUTH OF ROBERT DRIVE; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION;
AND PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Corpus Christi City Code, as amended, be and
the same is hereby amended by adding the following items under Section 53-253,
"STOPPING, STANDING OR PARKING PROHIBITED DURING CERTAIN HOURS ON CERTAIN
STREETS", which items will hereafter read as follows:
HOURS, STOPPING, STANDING
NAME OF STREET OR PARKING PROHIBITED
Glendale Street, both sides
in the 200 block
Between 7:30 a.m. and
10:30 a.m. on school days
only
Carroll Lane, both sides, Between 7:00 a.m. and
between Panama Drive and 4:00 p.m. on school days
Lynwood Drive only
Panama Drive, north side, Between 7:00 a.m. and
from Carroll Lane to a 4:00 p.m. on school days
point 250 feet east of only
Carroll Lane
SECTION 2. That Section 53-252, Schedule III, PARKING PROHIBITED
AT ALL TIMES ON CERTAIN STREETS, be amended by adding thereto the following
item:
Ocean Drive, west side, from Robert Drive to a point 500
feet south of Robert Drive.
SECTION 3. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi, by publishing the caption of
this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of the ordinance.
SECTION 4. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or un-
constitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction it shall

not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word,
or provision of this ordinance, for it is the definite intent of the City
Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word, or
provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
