AN ORDINANCE
APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $85,560.28 OUT OF THE
NO. 205 WATER SYSTEM BOND CONSTRUCTION FUND TO
REIMBURSE THE 141 WATER REVENUE FUND FOR EXPENSES
IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF $25,000,000 FIRST
LIEN WATERWORKS SYSTEM REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 1981,
ON JULY 22, 1981; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $85,560.28
out of the No. 205 Water System Bond Construction Fund for reimbursement of
the 141 Water Revenue Fund for expenses in connection with the sale of
$25,000,000 First Lien Waterworks System Revenue Bonds, Series 1981, on July 22,
1981, said expenses being as follows:

SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency in order to appro-
priate the funds as aforesaid due to the need for efficient administration
of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring
the suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordi-
nances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is
passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this
