HomeMy WebLinkAbout16559 ORD - 09/23/1981sp;9/22/81;lst TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $38,786.86 OUT OF VARIOUS BOND FUNDS FOR EXPENSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF $8,000,000 GENERAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS, SERIES 1981, ON JULY 22, 1981; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of various bond funds as hereinafter set forth for expenses in connection with the sale of $8,000,000 General Improvement Bonds, Series 1981, said sale having been conducted on July 22, 1981, said expenses being as follows: Bond Attorney, Hobby H. McCall Financial Advisor, M. E. Allison & Co., Inc. Printing Official Statement Printing Bonds Bond Rating Services - Moody's Bond Fund 220 Street 250 Sanitary Sewers $ 9,696.72 291 Park & Recreation 12,120.89 295 Storm Sewer 4,848.36 260 Fire Department 3,878.69 266 Police Building 434.41 263 Museum 2,377.63 265 Multi -Cultural Center 240.48 269 Library 3,250.34 1,939.34 538,786:a- SECTION 8786.86 SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency in order to appro- priate the funds as aforesaid due to the need for efficient administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordin- ances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this day of September, 1981.
