Home My WebLink About16572 ORD - 09/30/1981mb;9/28/81;lst • AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PARCEL 10, A DRAINAGE EASEMENT FOR THE WOOLDRIDGE-STAPLES DRAINAGE OUTFALL - PHASE I, PROJECT 295-70-66; APPROPRIATING OUT OF THE N0. 295 STORM SEWER BOND FUND, $2,100 FOR ACQUISITION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute the necessary documents for the acquisition of Parcel 10, a drainage easement for the Wooldridge -Staples Drainage Outfall -Phase I, Project 295-70-66, all as more fully set forth in the documents, a sub- stantial copy of which drainage easement is attached hereto and made a part hereof marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 295 Storm Sewer Bond Fund, $2,100 for acquisition. SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to acquire the property necessary for the Wooldridge -Staples Drainage Outfall -Phase I as soon as possible, in order to complete the needed public improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take ect upon first reading as an emergency measure this ,43(j day of , 1981.
