AN ORDINANCE
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 15494, AS AMENDED TO RECOGNIZE
THE ALTERNATE STANDARD FORM INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AGREE-
MENT AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE NO. 16601; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the second to last sentence of Section 4 of
Ordinance No. 15494, as amended, be amended to delete the words "Exhibit 1"
and to substitute therefor the words "Exhibits 1 or 2".
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need of
establishing alternate standard forms of Industrial District Agreement as
soon as possible, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requir-
ing suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordin-
ances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is .y
passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency this /,0:(
day of October, 1981.

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance or resolution,
an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you
suspend said Charter rule and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is
introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
