HomeMy WebLinkAbout16624 ORD - 10/21/1981-hsp;10/21/81;lst AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING THE FIVE FOOT WIDE WATER EASE- MENT IN THE CITY -OWNED 0.968 ACRE PORTION OF LOT 1, SECTION 41, FLOUR BLUFF AND ENCINAL FARM AND GARDEN TRACTS AS MORE FULLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR REPLATTING; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the five foot wide water easement be closed and abandoned in the city -owned 0.968 acre portion of Lot 1, Section 41, Flour Bluff and Encinal Farm and Garden Tracts subject to replat of the said prop- erty, the easement to be abandoned being more fully described as: Being a 5 foot wide water easement out of a portion of Lot 1, Section 41, Flour Bluff and Encinal Farm and Garden Tracts as recorded in Volume A, Page 41-43, map records, Nugces County, Texas. Beginning at a point which bears N 29° E 25 feet from the west corner of Lot 2, Lexington Industrial Center, a subdivision as recorded in Volume 29, Page 47, map records, Nueces County, Texas. Thence N 60° 58' W 284.92 feet to a point; Thence N 11° 45' W 6.60 feet to a point for the west corner of this tract; Thence S 60° 58' E 289.23 feet to a point; —Thence S 29° 00' W 5.0 feet to the point of beginning and containing 0.033 acres, more or less. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need of enhancing the value of public property, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency this the ,2) day of October, 1981.
