BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: elb SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 15848, passed and approved on October 29, 1980, be amended by amending Section 3 of said ordinance so as to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against abutting property owners on the following streets: Hendricks Street, from Padre Island Drive to Bush Street, as more fully described in the corrected and adjusted assessment roll, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need of adopting the final assessment roll as aforesaid so that the street improve- ment project can proceed, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed it shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the // day of November, 1981. 'SEP ?i 144 FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL HENDRICKS ADDITION STREET, WATER AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS NOVEMBER 11, 1981 The Hendricks Addition improvements shall include improvements to the following street: Hendricks Street, from Padre Island Drive to Bush Street. These improvements shall include the construction of a 40 -foot wide street by excavation to a width and depth to permit the laying of a standard curb and gutter section, 6" compacted subgrade, 8" compacted caliche base'and 2" type "D" Hot Mix Asphaltic pavement. There will be a 5' wide reinforced concrete sidewalk tied to the curb on both side of the street. An 8" water line and a 10" sanitary sewer line will be constructed in conjunction with the street improvements. This is an assessment project and assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the latest policy adopted by the City. Based on this policy and the low bid submitted by A & G Utility Company, Inc., the assessment rates are as follows: BID UNIT ASSESSMENT STREET 40' BOC PRICE COST RATE 6" Curb, Gutter and Pvmt. $41.22 L.F.
