AN ORDINANCE
CLOSING AND ABANDONING THE TEN FOOT WIDE UTILITY
EASEMENT CENTERED ON THE COMMON LOT LINE BETWEEN
LOT 5AR AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 31, PAGE 87, AND
LOT 6A AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 37, PAGE 110, MAP
RECORDS, NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, ALL IN BLOCK A,
JOSLIN TRACT, AS SHOWN BY ATTACHED EXHIBIT, SUB-
JECT TO REPLATTING OF THE PROPERTY AT THE EXPENSE
OF THE ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:

SECTION 1. That the ten foot wide utility easement centered on
the common lot line between Lot 5AR as recorded in Volume 31, Page 87, and
Lot 6A as recorded in Volume 37, Page 110, Map Records, Nueces County,
Texas, all in Block A, Joslin Tract, as shown by attached exhibit, be
closed and abandoned subject to replatting of the property at the expense
of the abutting property owners.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for
efficient administration of City affairs by the closing the aforementioned
utility easement at the earliest practical time, such finding of an emergency
is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to considera-
tion and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so
that this ordinance is passed aid shall take effect upon first reading as an
emergency measure this the I/ day of November, 1981.

an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you
suspend said Charter rule and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it i$
introduced, or at the present meeting of the City Council.
