HomeMy WebLinkAbout16701 ORD - 11/18/1981sp;11/2/al;lst• - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 57-83 OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI CODE OF ORDINANCES BY CHANGING THE FREQUENCY OF TAXI- CAB INSPECTIONS FROM AT LEAST ONCE EVERY THREE MONTHS TO AT LEAST ONCE EVERY SIX MONTHS AS MORE FULLY SET FORTH HEREIN; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Section 57-83 of the City of Corpus Christi Code of Ordinances be amended by changing the first sentence to read as follows: "It shall be the duty of the taxicab inspector to inspect every licensed taxicab which is or may be licensed under the provisions of this article at least once every six (6) months for the purpose of determining whether such vehicle is in a safe condition to be operated as a taxicab." SECTION 2.
