AMENDING THE CORPUS CHRISTI CITY CODE, AS
AMENDED, BY ADDING TO SECTION 36-89 A SUB-
SECTION N, ADOPTING RENTAL FEES FOR DISHES
GLASSES, AND FLATWARE AT THE CONVENTION
CENTER; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Corpus Christi City Code, as
amended, be amended by adding to Section 36-89 a Subsection N,
adopting rental fees for dishes, glasses, and flatware at the
Convention Center as follows:
N. Rental of China, Glassware and Flatware: The following items
are available for rent to caterers and others using the Bayfront
Plaza Convention Center. The rental fees quoted are on a per -use
basis, and include washing. If the lessee does the washing, $.01
per item may be deducted from the rental fee. For those wishing
to rent china, glassware or flatware, the Convention Center staff
will provide the lessee with the items requested (if available).
At the end of the function being served, the lessee (caterer)
will bus the tables, bring the rented items,to the kitchen,
scrape the food off all dishes, and stack them near the
dishwasher so that they can be inventoried. The replacement fees
of any broken or missing items will be added to the rental fee.

SECTION 2. Publication shall be made one time in the
publication of the City of Corpus Christi by publishing the
caption of this ordinance, stating in substance the purpose of
the ordinance.
