AN ORDINANCE
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
SUPPLEMENTAL LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FEDERAL
AVIATION ADMINISTRATION, TO LEASE NUMBER
DOT-FA76SW-1198, BY WHICH THE FEDERAL
AVIATION ADMINISTRATION WILL PERMANENTLY
RELINQUISH FORTY (40) PARKING SPACES FOR USE
BY THE CORPUS CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
AND HENCEFORTH REDUCE THE ANNUAL RENT BY
$1,868.60 PER ANNUM FOR THE REMAINING NINE
(9) YEARS OF THE LEASE, ALL AS SHOWN IN
EXHIBIT "A", A SUBSTANTIAL COPY OF WHICH IS
ATTACHED HERETO AND MADE A PART HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby
authorized to execute a supplemental lease agreement with the
Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, to
Lease Number DOT-FA76SW-1198, by which the Federal Aviation
Administration will permanently relinquish forty .(40) parking
spaces for use by the Corpus Christi International Airport and
henceforth reduce the annual rent by $1,863.60 per annum for the
remaining nine (9) years of the lease, all as shown in Exhibit
a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof.

SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 3
T'S SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT, made and entered into on this
day of 19 , by and between the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
hereir.-. ter called the Government, represented by the FEDERAL AVIATION
ADMINISTRATION, and the CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS, hereinafter called
the Lessor, whose address is Corpus Christi International Airport, Corpus
Christi, Texas 78403, WITNESSETH, That:
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of September 1975, the parties hereto entered
into Lease No. DOT-FA76SW-1198, for the considerations and purposes stated
in said lease; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereunto determined that it was in their best
interests to amend said lease by Supplemental Agreements No. 1 and No. 2 dated
January 10, 1978, and May 31, 1981, respectively, for the purposes named
therein; and
Ww-IREAS, the Lessor has expressed a need and desire to acquire
forty (40) parking spaces from the Government's ATCT/TRACON parking area,
and desires the Government to establish a valuation for said spaces; and
WHEREAS, the Government has reviewed ;its parking requirements at
Corps Christi ATCT/TRACON and finds that forty (40) parking spaces can
be released to the Lessor at a valuatiod-of $1,863.60 per annum; the
location of said spaces is shown in red,on Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the parties hereunto find it will be to their mutual advantage
and benefit for the purposes stated her inabove to further amend said lease.
NOW, THEREFORE, effective August 13, 1981, the parties hereto agree
to amend the said lease in the followirg particulars only, VIZ:
1. REDUCE: The annual bare rent for the premises at the rate of
$1,863.60 per annum to $46,982.65 for a period of nine (9) years, the
remaining term of the lease; and
2. CHANGE: Article 9, Cost of Bare Rent, from $48,846.25 to $46,982.65;
and
3. CHANGE: Article 3 from $69,229.27 to $67,365.67, payable monthly
in the arrears at the rate of $5,613.80; and

. 4. CHANGE: Article 10 from $64,229.27 to $67,365.67 per annum; and
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE LEASE are ratified and except as
amended hereinabove shall be and remain the same.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereunto have subscribed their names
as of the date and year first above written.
