HomeMy WebLinkAbout16919 ORD - 03/03/1982AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $750 OUT OF THE NO. 295 COMMUNITY CONVENTION FACILITY BOND FUND FOR APPRAISAL FEES FOR ACQUIRING BAYFRONT SCIENCE PARK PARCEL 67; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of $750 out of the No. 295 Community Convention Facility Bond Fund for appraisal services by Roy Temple in connection with acquisition by condemnation of Parcel 67, Bayfront Science Park, Project 209-76-1.3. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient administration of City affairs by providing funds for appraisal services as aforesaid, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the day of March, 1982.
