APPROPRIATING $5,600 FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES BY THOMAS F.
DORSEY IN CONNECTION WITH ACOUISITION OF EIGHT PARCELS
FOR THE FIVE POINTS AREA DRAINAGE OUTFALL; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRIST,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 295
Storm Sewer Bond Fund the sum of $5,600 for appraisal services by Thomas F.
Dorsey in connection with the acquisition of Parcels 1 through 8 for the
Five Points Area Drainage Outfall, Project No. 295-77-15.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for
efficient administration of City affairs by appropriating funds for the pur-
poses set forth hereinabove, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring suspension of the Charter; rule as to consideration and
voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that
this ordinance -is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an
emergency measure this the .4/ day of March, 1982.
