CHANGING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE AIRPORT BOARD TO CONSIST
OF SEVEN MEMBERS SERVING THREE-YEAR, STAGGERED TERMS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 2, Administration, Article X,
Miscellaneous Boards, Commissions and Committees, of the Code of.,Ordinances
of the City of Corpus Christi be amended by adding "Division 7. Airport
Board" to consist of the following:
SECTION 2-295. Membership.
(a) The Airport Board, created by City Charter Article V, Section
13A shall consist of seven (7) members appointed by the City Council for
three-year terms.
(b) Of the membership first appointed under this section, three (3)
members shall serve for three-year terms, two (2) members shall serve for
two-year terms, and two (2) members shall serve for one-year terms, with the
terms to be decided by lot at the first business session of the board.
