HomeMy WebLinkAbout17018 ORD - 05/05/1982.; lw;4-30-82;lst AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR ACQUISITION OF THREE PARCELS FOR THE WOOLDRIDGE-STAPLES DRAINAGE OUTFALL - PHASE I, AND APPROPRIATING $10,550 FOR SAID ACQUISI- TION AND APPRAISAL SERVICES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute4the necessary documents for the acquisition of Parcels 11, 12, and 13 from Joe B. Hunt and wife, Clara M. Hunt, for drainage easerrents for the Wooldridge -Staples Drainage Outfall Phase I, Project No. 295-70- 66, said parcels being more fully described as follows: Being a tract of land out of Lots C, D, & E, Block 29, Bass subdivision as recorded in Volume 7, Page 17, Map Records, Nueces County, Texas and further described as follows: Beginning at a point being the north corner of said Lot C; Thence S. 600 55' 30" E. 396.00 feet to a point; Thence S. 29° 04' 30" W., 55.00 feet to a point for the south corner of this tract; Thence N. 60° 55' 30" W., 396.00 feet to a point; Thence N. 29° 04' 30" E., 55.00 feet to the point of beginning and containing 0.50 acres, more or less. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated out of the No. 295 Storm Sewer Bond Fund the sum of $10,550, of which $8,300 is for acquisition and $2,250 is for appraisal services of these and two other parcels in the aforesaid project. SECTION 3.
