HomeMy WebLinkAbout17019 ORD - 05/05/1982• lw;4-30-83'lst AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDIHAN6E NO. 16105 BY AMENDING SECTION 3 IN ORDER TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON McARDLE ROAD; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 16105, passed and approved by the City Council on March 11, 1981, adopting the final assessment roll for street improvements on McArdle Road, from Holmes Drive to Crescent Drive, be and the same is hereby amended by amending Section 3 to adopt the final and corrected assessment roll, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by the adoption of the final, corrected assessment roll as aforesaid, such finding_of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to considera tion and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the day of May, 1982. BRUCE AYCOCKTTY ATT RNEY By THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS SEP 2 8 198‘ MICROFILMEti 17019 FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL McARDLE ROAD (S.H. 142) FROMHOLMESDRIVE TO CRESCENT DRIVE MAY 12, 1982 This project shall include improvements to McArdle Road within the limits described and provides for a roadway of 30, 39, 48 and 60 feet in width within the existing right-of-way. The roadway will have a 6" thick compacted stablized subgrade, a 5" thick stablized flexible base and 1.11" asphaltic concrete pavement. Sidewalk shall be constructed 4 or 5 feet wide of reinforced concrete and 6" thick reinforced concrete driveways shall be constructed as shown on the plans or where requested by the owners. This project is being constructed jointly by the City and the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation and is an improvement assessment project.
